Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Wonder Clean ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is short because we collect very little: there is no form on this website, so nothing you type here is ever sent to us.
Who we are
Wonder Clean is the data controller. Contact: 07555 571 361 or on WhatsApp.
What we collect
Only what you choose to tell us when you get in touch. That is usually your name, your phone number, the address of the job, and a description of what needs cleaning — plus any photos you decide to send us.
We do not ask for anything else, and we never ask for payment details in a message.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details to give you a price, arrange a visit and carry out any work you book. Our lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and afterwards performance of that contract.
We do not send marketing unless you ask us to. If you do, that is based on your consent and you can withdraw it at any time by telling us — it will not affect your quote or your booking.
Messaging us on WhatsApp
WhatsApp is run by Meta, not by us. Message content is end-to-end encrypted, so Meta cannot read what you send us — but Meta does handle information about the message, such as your phone number and when it was sent, as the operator of that platform and under its own privacy policy. Your chat with us sits in the WhatsApp app on our phone.
If you would rather Meta had nothing to do with it, just ring us instead — the number is at the top of every page.
Calling us
If you call, we keep the details needed to respond and, if you book, to carry out the work. We do not record calls.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. The only companies involved in running this website are:
- Vercel — hosts the website and keeps short-lived server logs, which include your IP address.
- Google — provides our website analytics. See the section below.
- Meta — carries your WhatsApp messages, as described above.
These companies are US-headquartered or transfer data outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Where you become a customer, we keep the records needed for tax and accounting for 6 years, as required by law, then delete them.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages are useful, so we can improve it. It sets cookies on your device and records things like the pages you view, roughly where in the country you are, and whether you arrived from a search or a link. It does not tell us who you are. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell or share this data for anyone else's marketing.
Google Analytics is provided by Google, which is US-headquartered; where data is transferred outside the UK that transfer relies on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent Standard Contractual Clauses. You can opt out for every site you visit using Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Aside from analytics, only cookies strictly necessary for the site to function are used.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. Just ring us on 07555 571 361 or send us a message. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
